Durban-born striker Kai Henning has joined Spanish club Rayo Vallecano.
The 19-year-old moved to Australia when he was 12 and later to the United Kingdom, where he joined Steven Gerrard’s academy.
After previously also spending time with CD Leganes, Henning now signed a contract with the C-team of LaLiga side Rayo Vallecano.
“Excited to sign my first contract with Rayo Vallecano,” he stated on social media.
There is little known about the striker, other than that he started his playing career in Australia, before being scouted by Gerrard’s academy.
He won the U19 and U23 youth titles in England, before fate took him to Spain, where he first trained with Leganes before joining Vallecano this week.
