In Portugal, ‘Yaya’ Sithole, who recently returned from the injury, found the back of the net for Tondela in their 2-1 victory over Santa Clara.

Across the Middle East, Nkota shone brightest, assisting twice in Al-Ettifaq’s 3-1 win in the Saudi Pro League, where Elias Mokwana played 22 minutes as Al Hazem suffered a 2-0 loss to Al Ahli.
Lyle Foster played 80 minutes for Burnley in their 5-1 English Premier League loss to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Also, in England, Luke Le Roux logged 62 minutes on the pitch for Portsmouth during their 2-1 EFL Championship loss to Ipswich.
In an unfortunate event, Ime Okon was forced off with an injury after playing just 34 minutes for Hannover 96 in the Germany Bundesliga 2, with his club going on to beat Arminia Bielefeld 3-1.
Siyabonga Ngezana maintained his good form, helping his team FCSB secure a 1-0 victory and a clean sheet against Otelul in the Romanian top division.
In Vietnam, Percy Tau played 45 minutes for Nam Dinh in their 2-0 defeat to Cong An Ha Noi, with his countryman teammate Njabulo Blom not featuring.

In the USA MLS, Bongokuhle Hlongwane played the full 90 minutes for Minnesota United in their 1-1 draw with Colorado Rapids, while Philadelphia Union defender Olwethu Makhanya also played the full 90 minutes in his side’s massive 6-0 victory over DC United.
And in the Moroccan Botola Pro, Thembinkosi Lorch featured for 86 minutes as his club, Wydad Casablanca, defeated Renaissance Zemamra 3-1.
