Fadlu Davids’ Simba SC have won six successive games in the Tanzanian Premier League after beating Kengold FC 2-0 on Wednesday.
The Tanzanian giants returned to league football for the first time since 22 November after three back-to-back CAF Confederations Cup games.
On Wednesday, Simba beat Kengold 2-0 thanks to two first-half goals by Leonel Ateba to move back into second spot.
Simba have now won six league games in a row and 10 out of 12 Tanzanian Premier League games overall, while losing one and drawing one.

They climbed back into second place with 31 points, two behind league leaders Azam FC but have three games in hand.
