Zamalek board member Ahmed Soliman has dismissed rumours that the Egyptian giants have approached Pitso Mosimane.
Mosimane, 59, is currently in charge of Al Wahda in the United Arab Emirates, but there have been some rumours that he might leave the club.
He had suffered a health scare after being in hospital last week, but was said to be much better by Friday.
Mosimane, despite previously being in charge of Zamalek rivals Al Ahly, has been continuously linked with the White Knights, who have been struggling in recent years.
But Soliman has now dismissed any talk of Zamalek having made contact with Mosimane, insisting they still trust Juan Carlos Osorio.
“Osorio will continue his tasks in managing Zamalek,” he told MBC Masr as per Kingfut.
“We have not contacted Mosimane or any other replacement for Osorio.
“We’ve also put a plan to pay all the managerial staff’s wages. We fully support them and they have our backing.”
