TS Galaxy Queens climbed up to third place on the Hollywoodbets Super League table with 54 points after their 4-1 victory over already relegated Ma-Indies Ladies in Mpumalanga this past weekend.
Nompumelolo Nyandeni grabbed a brace while the other goals came from Koketso Tlailane and Mamello Makhabane in the side’s 26th outing this season. Ma-Indies remain at the foot of the log with just eight points from 28 matches.
University of Johannesburg also made a move up to seventh spot on the log with 43 points after they put three past Royal AM without a reply. The KwaZulu-Natal-based outfit remain in fifth place on the standings with 49 points from 27 games.
Meanwhile, newcomers University of Pretoria and Richmond United played to a goalless draw, a result that saw the rookies remain in sixth position on the standings with 46 points from 26 matche, while United dropped to eighth with 41 points in 27 games. Â
