Busisiwe Ndimeni was Player of the Match as she netted a brace in TS Galaxy Queens’ first victory in the Hollywoodbets Super League.
Nomvula Kgoale was on the score sheet as Galaxy defeated fellow newcomers, University of Pretoria (Tuks) in the capital. Galaxy sit in seventh place on the log with three points in two matches, while Tuks are third from bottom with no point from the same number of games.
University of Johannesburg (UJ) moved to the top of the table with six points following their 5-0 thrashing of Coal City Wizards at home.
The Shamase twins shined as S’phumelele grabbed a brace and Thubelihle also scored, complimented by Adrielle Mibe and Shakeera Jacobs on the score sheet.
The Wizards remained bottom of the log with no point in two outings. After two rounds the Mpumalanga based outfit has the leakiest defense, having conceded 14 goals.
Meanwhile Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) moved up to third spot on the table with four points, after their first win of the campaign, a 3-0 victory over rookies Copperbelt Ladies. The Limpopo side dropped to seventh position with three points also from two games.
