AmaZulu have extended the stay of midfield maestro Hendrick Pule Ekstein after an impressive season.
Ekstein, 33, has been a pillar of the AmaZulu team this past season, featuring in 30 matches across all competitions with five-goal contributions, scoring three goals and setting up two more.
The 33-year-old won several Man of the Match awards, as Usuthu finished just outside the top eight.
iDiski Times understand that AmaZulu extended the contract of Ekstein until June 2026 as his current deal was set to expire at the end of this month.
Ekstein has been with Amazulu since July 2021 when he joined as a free agent after leaving FK Sabail. He first joined Sabah in July 2019 after his departure from Kaizer Chiefs, where he had been for five years and was part of the last squad to win a league title in 2014/15.
The KwaZulu Natal-based side already released Augustine Kwem, Veluyeke Zulu, and George Maluleka ahead of the new season, as Pablo Franco Martin will go into his second campaign at the club.
