Bafana Bafana striker Lebo Mothiba has completed his medicals ahead of a move to Belgium Pro League side Standard de Liège.
Mothiba, 28, left French Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg Alsace after six seasons since his arrival from Lille. In the blue colors of Strasbourg, he played 96 matches and scored 20 goals.
During the short loan spell he had at ESTAC Troyes, he managed 13 appearances and netted two goals. But Mothiba suffered an injury late last year, which made him miss the 2023 AFCON that was hosted by Ivory Coast.
The former Lille striker was linked with a move in the DStv Premiership after being spotted at Kaizer Chiefs and being heavily linked with Mamelodi Sundowns.
But he has completed his medical tests and he is set to complete a move to Standard de Liège ahead of the new season, as per Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
Liège finished in 10th place in the Jupiler Pro League last season.
