Former TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic has broken his silence regarding links to Golden Arrows, saying speculations are part of the game.

Beganovic has spent two seasons with the Rockets, having served as an assistant coach under former head coach Sead Ramovic, helping them to finish in the top 8.

But last campaign, the Bosnian endured inconsistent results after appointed as head coach that saw the Mpumalanga-based outfit finish in 12th position with 32 points in the league.

Despite reaching the Nedbank Cup final, the 43-year-old was fired just before the Ke Yona decider. He had recently been linked with Arrows who have also parted ways with their former coach Manqoba Mngqithi.

He spoke to iDiski Times senior journalist Lorenz Köhler in edition 260 of the newspaper where he admitted he’s had discussions with some clubs and that what he is looking for is an ambition side.

“In football, speculation is part of the game,” Beganovic told iDiski Times.

“There have been some discussions with different clubs, but at the moment, there is nothing concrete to confirm.

“Right now, as I have said, I am interested in an honest and long-term project—a club that has the ambition to build everything around and within the team to compete for trophies.

“What I can say is that I have great respect for the PSL—it is a competitive league with great potential, talented players, and passionate supporters.

“My experience in South Africa has been very positive, and I would certainly consider opportunities that align with my vision and ambitions.”

Arrows are set to appoint former Durban City coach, Pitso Dladla as their new head coach.
