Orlando Pirates have completed the signing of Stellenbosch FC midfielder Andre de Jong.
This publication can confirm that Pirates finally completed the signing of de Jong after already attempting to sign him in September.

However, that time the deal fell through because the Winelands side failed to find a replacement.
But the Buccaneers came back in the past weeks and finally reached a club-to-club agreement with Stellenbosch and also already agreed on personal terms with the player.
The New Zealand international will join Pirates on 1 January when the Premier Soccer League transfer window opens again.
The 29-year old has played his final game for Stellies when they lost 2-1 to Polokwane City in the Betway Premiership at Athlone Stadium on Wednesday.
De Jong played 114 games for Stellenbosch, scoring 19 goals and contributing with 11 assists.
He helped the Cape Winelands side to win their first major trophy when they won Carling Knockout Cup in 2023. He also played a massive role in them making it to the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final last season.
