Kaizer Chiefs Head of Scouting and Recruitment Tera Maliwa has confirmed Amakhosi will take part in the TransferRoom Summit in Rabat, Morocco this week.
The TR LIVE Summit will take place on 22 December in Rabat, with over 120 influential decision-makers from leading clubs such as Premier League champions Liverpool, academies and agencies worldwide.
Mamelodi Sundowns are well-known for attending previous TransferRoom Summits, with Sporting Director Flemming Berg being one of the regulars, and deals for the likes of Marcelo Allende, Tashreeq Matthews and Arthur Sales stemming from the platform.
On Thursday, Maliwa confirmed that he will attend the TransferRoom Summit in Rabat alongside Chiefs’ Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr, which will be the club’s first participation at the platform.
“Football is a business of information and you need as much access as you can,” Maliwa wrote on LinkedIn.
“I’m thrilled that I will be attending TransferRoom for the first time in Rabat, Morocco, together with our Sport Director, Mr Kaizer Motaung Jr.
“It will also be the first time that our club Kaizer Chiefs Football Club attend this platform.
“We as a club are looking to re-strengthen our position in the global transfer market and relations, so the TransferRoom Summit in Rabat is perfect for us to get in touch with a lot of football people, clubs and agents.”
Stellenbosch FC have also joined the TransferRoom network in October 2024.
