Chippa Offer Former Pirates Wizard Assistant Coach Role

Chippa United have offered Mark Mayambela the assistant coach role to join new head coach Sinethemba Badela’s technical team.

Mayambela, 37, is currently out of the country, completing his UEFA A coaching licence in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

But information coming out of Chippa’s corridors is that they have offered Mayambela an assistant coach role. The ball is now in Mayambela’s court while the Chilli Boys will wait for his decision.

Chippa have been active in the past few weeks, reshuffling their technical team ahead of the new season. They have already secured Sinesipho Mali as their Sporting Director and Badela as head coach.

In addition, they have also secured the signing of Cape Town Spurs midfielder Khaya Mfecane on a free transfer after his contract with the Cape Town-based side was set to expire.

It would be a homecoming for Mayambela who featured for the Chilli Boys during two stints in his playing days.
