Chippa United have reached an agreement with former Wydad AC assistant coach Sinethemba Badela to become their new head coach.
The Chilli Boys seems to be moving in a new direction after appointing Sinesipho Mali as the Sporting Director and the latest information received from the corridors of Chippa is that they have reached an agreement with Badela as their new head coach ahead of the new season.
Following long meetings and negotiations between Badela’s representatives and the Chippa management, the two camps finally reached an agreement on Monday.
The former Cape Town All-Stars technocrat is expected to take United to the higher level after gaining so much experience from his previous job at Wydad AC under Rulani Mokwena.
Badela is known for playing possession-based football from his time at All Stars as well as his days as Mamelodi Sundowns DDC coach before moving to Wydad with Mokwena in 2024/25.
