Cape Town City are said to be keen on luring Keagan Dolly to the club ahead of the 2025/26 season in an ambitious approach for the second-tier side.
Dolly, 32, was with the South Africa national team at the African Nations Championship in East Africa where they were knocked out in the group stages despite not losing any game.
But following the dramatic 3-3 with Uganda, Bafana are on their way back home and many players of Molefi Ntseki’s squad are still looking for new clubs – including Dolly after parting ways with TS Galaxy.
The Citizens are ready to bolster their squad with the experienced winger as a potential leader for their squad-rebuild.
having signed Mickey van der Hart, Sifiso Ngobeni, Njabulo Ngcobo and Simon van Duivenbooden as their new spine after a shock relegation via the playoffs last season.
Dolly made 20 appearances for Galaxy, scoring three goals. Before his stint with the Rockets, Dolly was with Kaizer Chiefs, scoring 14 goals and setting up 11 more in 67 appearances.
It would be another strong signing by John Comitis’ side, as they attempt to return to the Betway Premiership this campaign.
