Done Deal: AmaZulu Sign New Striker

AmaZulu FC reached an agreement with Chippa United for the signing of Namibian striker Elmo Kambindu.

Kambindu, 31, joined Chippa at the beginning of the 2022/23 season following a good spell with Angolan side CD Costa de Sol.

In his two-and-a-half seasons in the Premier Soccer League he scored five goals in 43 matches. Last season was his best campaign, as he scored four goals.

This publication understands that Kambindu has completed a move to AmaZulu and he is expected to arrive in Durban before the end of this week.

Co-coaches Arthur Zwane and Vusumuzi Vilakazi have been speaking out loud about the need to sign another striker, as they’ve been struggling to score goals since the duo took over.

Usuthu also announced the exit of Junior Dion, who along with Yanga Mjoli, joined Marumo Gallants on loan until the end of the season.
