Former Spurs Defender Spotted At Chippa

Former Cape Town Spurs defender Gadiel Michael Kamagi joined Chippa United’s camp on Saturday in Gauteng.

Kamagi, 27, was at Spurs the previous season where he spent six months on loan from Tanzanian side Fountain Gate.

He had a good short stint at Spurs, as he scored two goals and had two assists, helping the Urban Warriors collect 15 points in the second round of the season but that was not enough to save them from relegation.

Information received by iDiski Times states that Kamagi arrived in Gauteng on Saturday, to join Chippa as they are based in Johannesburg for their pre-season.

This website understands that the 27-year-old will go through an assessment at the Chilli Boys before a decision whether to sign him or not will be made.

Chippa already have Azola Ntsabo and Malebogo Modise on the left side, and they would compete with Kamagi should he be signed. Modise can operate on the left wing as well.
