TS Galaxy have mutually agreed to parted ways with former Kaizer Chiefs and Royal AM striker Samir Nurkovic after just one season.
Nurkovic joined Galaxy in September last year following his exit at Royal AM, where he never played an official match up until he left and is still stuck in a court case that has resulted in Royal AM being banned by FIFA.
The former Chiefs striker, though, hit the road running at Galaxy and scored 10 goals in the 2024/25 season.
A few months ago, iDiski Times reported that the 32-year-old impressed Galaxy and the one-year option was triggered by the Rockets before his one-year contract expired.
But the latest information received by this publication states that Nurkovic wanted out of Galaxy and ended up arriving late in pre-season, which was the other reason he missed the MTN8 quarter-final clash against Stellenbosch FC.
After all that, iDiski Times has established that Galaxy and Nurkovic have reached an agreement to terminate the contract and go separate ways just two days before the window transfer closes.
