Kaizer Chiefs Marketing and Commercial Director Jessica Motaung has revealed that the club is in process of signing players, who will come along to the trip to the Netherlands.
Motaung spoke on the sidelines of Chiefs’ launch of the 2025 Toyota Cup, which will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium on 26 July, when Amakhosi will face Asante Kotoko.
While other clubs like Orlando Pirates have already announced some of their signings, Chiefs have remained mum and only confirmed departures so far.
However, Motaung insisted the technical team and management are busy behind the scenes, with some new faces expected to make the pre-season camp in the Netherlands.
“The team is still busy with that, we still have another week to go,” she told journalists.
“But certainly there’s a lot of work being done. I am aware of players who are currently signing, so once that is all sorted out, if they are ready to travel to the Netherlands, they will come through.
“Obviously, there may be delays with paperwork and visas. Those are some of the things we may have to deal with.
“But we’re certainly trying to bring the players who can come to the Netherlands and make sure that they are together.
“But certainly, even after that, we’ll be having a lot of tight sessions to make sure people haven’t been part of the tour, they’ll be part of the additional preparations leading up to the Toyota club and also after that.”
