Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr. has explained why Amakhosi have added Tebogo Potsane as seventh signing to their squad.
Earlier, Chiefs announced the signing of Potsane, who agreed to a three-year contract at Naturena.
Potsane, 29, became the club’s seventh new signing after Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, Spiwe Given Msimango, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Edson Daniel Castillo Garcia, Pule Mmodi and Ranga Piniel Chivaviro.
With some asking what Potsane will add to the squad, Kaizer Jr. explained the thoughts of the club’s leadership.
“We believe Tebogo will prove to be a valuable complement to the squad,” he said.
“He brings his skill and craft to us, as well as a wealth of experience that our younger players can learn and benefit from.
“We are happy to welcome him into the Kaizer Chiefs Family.”
Chiefs’ official unveiling statement of Potsane also stated that he was signed to “add crucial depth to the group of playing personnel”, “as the Club management and technical staff look to assemble a team that can return the Glamour Boys to their rightful place at the top of domestic football tree”.
