Goalkeeper Siphamandla Gumede will return to his mother club Orlando Pirates after one season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Gumede joined the Buccaneers at the beginning of the recently-concluded campaign after putting in a great shift while on the books of Gauteng ABC Motsepe League side Dondol Stars.
The 22-year-old was immediately loaned out to Motsepe Foundation Championship newcomers Orbit College for one season, with his contract there now set to come to an end on June 30.

The former Dondol Stars goalkeeper played a role in helping Orbit secure their Motsepe Foundation Championship status after they finished the campaign in ninth spot, even though they topped the standings for 16 weeks.
iDiskiTimes understands Gumede will return to Pirates for pre-season.
With Richard Ofori and Siyabonga Mpontshane having left the club, it remains unclear whether the former Dondol Stars shot-stopper will be retained at Pirates for the 2024/25 season or be shipped out on loan for another term. Gumede still has two years left in his contract with Buccaneers, with a two-year option.
Pirates have Sipho Chaine and Melusi Buthelezi in the goalkeeper’s department, and have strongly been linked with Chippa United’s Stanley Nwabali.
