Chippa United attacker Sinoxolo Kwayiba has opened up on his move back to the Chilli Boys and pleaded with the club’s supporters to back the Eastern Cape-based side.
Kwayiba, 25, joined Orlando Pirates ahead of the 2025/26 season but found game-time under coach Abdeslam Ouaddou hard to come by, only making four appearances.
At Chippa, he scored seven goals in 28 appearances the previous campaign, and they need him to re-find his scoring boots in order to avoid the drop.
With Chippa currently sitting at the bottom of the table, Kwayiba has pleaded with the club’s fans to come and support in his first words since leaving Pirates.
“Hello everyone, my name is Sinoxolo Kwayiba, a former Orlando Pirates player, but now I have moved to Chippa United Football Club, which is the club I was playing for, before, “ Kwayiba told Chippa’s media team.
“I want to say that I’m happy to be back at home. Let’s support Chippa United, let’s fight together, and me I want to first fight for my position to get into the team, so that I can play.
“But what I’m trying to say, can we try and please support Chippa United? We want to fight this season, so that’s all I wanted to say.
“I’m saying that I’m back at Chippa United, let’s fight this race. Support us, guys please. Thank you.”
