Newly-promoted Magesi FC have announced 12 exits ahead of their maiden DStv Premiership campaign.
Clinton Larsen’s team won promotion after lifting the Motsepe Foundation Championship in 2023/24 and have been streamlining their squad as they prepare for football in the top flight.
While they’re yet to confirm incoming signings, the club has now confirmed that 12 players have left the club.
Those players are: Mpho Raseona, Mcedi Vandala, Dawny Makgatho, Elson Sithole, Diamond Thopola, Vuyisile Wana, Tebogo Mokalapa, Mmahlogo Masemola, Raphile Mawela, Thitswalo Masebe, Katleho Molaba, Ntuthuko Mlotshwa
“These players contributed immensely to the success of Dikwena and as such, we wish them well in all future endeavours,” their statement confirmed.
“Kindly note, further announcements will be made regarding the upcoming season.”
Dikwena Tsa Meetse are looking to avoid mistakes made by the relegated Cape Town Spurs by making sure they preserve their top-flight status.
