Mkhuma Close To Join New PSL Club

Casric Stars are edging closer to securing the signature of former Mamelodi Sundowns winger Promise Mkhuma.

Mkhuma, 25, had a promising start to his career when he made his senior debut at Sundowns under Pitso Mosimane back in 2020.

Two years down the line he was loaned to Moroka Swallows FC but didn’t last long as he returned to Sundowns and was then loaned out Cape Town All Stars. He spent six months in with All Stars before he was loaned to University of Pretoria.

Downs released him in July 2024 and immediately Upington City snatched him up. But he only lasted a year with Bafana Ba Gucci before he was released.

The latest information received by this publication is that Mkhuma is close to joining Casric Stars, as he has started training with them already.

Stars started the season on high note after winning both games to sit at the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table with six points, two points ahead Clinton Larsen’s Venda Football Club.
