Mngqithi Gives Mbule Update

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Manqoba Mngqithi has given an update on Sipho Mbule, who has been linked with a loan to Sekhukhune United.

Earlier this week, iDiski Times broke that Mbule is close to joining Babina Noko on loan, but the deal is yet to be finalised.

When Mngqithi was asked to give an update after his side’s 2-0 win in the Tshwane Derby, the Sundowns coach only confirmed that the midfielder is back in training.

“I think he has been training very well, but he still has issues, because he’s coming from an injury, but he’s already in full training,” he told journalists.

“He’s a very good player. His quality is second to none.

“However, there are some areas of his of his football that must improve, but he’s a very is a very good football player and we are happy to have him around.”

The transfer window closes in two days, meaning Sekhukhune and Sundowns have less than 48 hours to complete the deal.
