Chippa United have seemingly appointed Vusumuzi Vilakazi as their new head coach again after the exit of Luc Eymael.
Eymael had overseen just seven matches, including the Carling Knockout defeat to Richards Bay in the Last 16.
In the league, the former Polokwane City and St Eloi Lupopo coach has managed five points out of a possible 18 and leaving the side at the bottom of the Betway Premiership log with six points in 10 outings.
This publication can confirm that Vilakazi was roped back in and completed the training at Chippa on Wednesday morning alongside Sporting Director Sinesipho Mali after leaving his role at Kruger United.
The Chilli Boys are yet to make an official statement on the coaching changes, but it appears Vilakazi will become Chippa’s fourth coach this season already.
The had started a “new dawn” with Sinethemba Badela, but he left after just two games over alleged disagreements with SD Mali. Musa Nyatama then took charge of just one game before being sacked, and ultimately replaced by Emael.
Vilakazi now seemingly returns to the Gqeberha-based side after previously holding the Technical Director and assistant coach role briefly in September 2023.
