New Player Spotted In Arrows Camp Ahead Of Pirates Tie

Former Royal AM and Sekhukhune United defender Khulekani Shezi has been spotted in Golden Arrows’ camp ahead of the Orlando Pirates clash.

The 24-year-old returned to KwaZulu-Natal ahead of the beginning of the season after parting ways with Sekhukhune United.

Shezi joined Babina Noko in March last season, at which time his former club, Royal AM, was under a PSL suspension just prior to its official expulsion.

He only played four matches for the Limpopo outfit towards the end of the previous campaign, leaving the club in June.

Upon his return to his home province, he trained with the recently promoted Motsepe Foundation Championship side Midlands Wanderers FC.

It appears now the defender has been training with Abafana Bes’thende for a few weeks. He’s believed to have signed for the club, strengthening their defence.

Shezi is poised to integrate into the right-back position, which currently has Keenan Phillips, Thokozani Lukhele, Brandon Theron, Nduduzo Mhlongo, and Sboniso Madonsela.
