Orlando Pirates midfielder Azola Matrose will return to Chippa United on a permanent deal.
Matrose joined Pirates at the beginning of the 2022/23 season after impressing during his breakout season with the Chippa in 2021/22. But he was initially loaned back to Chippa in the first season, as he was still finishing school.

He returned to Pirates in the last campaign, but was troubled by an injury that kept him out of the team for a long time.
His return saw him feature in the club’s DStv Diski Challenge side where he played almost all the games in the second round.
iDiski Times understands the Chilli Boys tabled a three-year contract with a two-year option for the 21-year-old, and Matrose will move back to Chippa permanently, as first reported by SABC Sport.
Matrose is expected to join Chippa in their 10-day pre-season camp that will take place in Johannesburg next week, as they continue to prepare for the upcoming season.
