AmaZulu FC have announced the signing of Côte d’Ivoire U23 international central defender Zouzou Landry, as first reported by iDiski Times.

Usuthu have also snapped up goalkeeper Siphelele Zulu, 24, who returns to the club after stints at Hout Bay United and Pretoria Callies.

The 25-year-old Zouzou spent last season in Tanzania with AZAM and was previously on the books of AFAD Plateau, having been developed and emerged in the senior set-up at ASEC Mimosas.

Coach Arthur Zwane has once again strengthened his side as they aim for a better 2026/27 campaign.

“AmaZulu FC have strengthened their squad with the addition of Côte d’Ivoire U23 international central defender Zouzou Landry (25), while goalkeeper Siphelele Zulu (24) makes his return to Usuthu as the club continues its latest business in the transfer market.

“Landry joins AmaZulu from Tanzanian Premier League outfit Azam FC, bringing international experience and defensive reinforcements to the Arthur Zwane-led side.

“The central defender, who hails from the northern part of Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire, expressed his delight at making the move to South Africa and getting the opportunity to compete in the Premier Soccer League.

“I am very happy to be in South Africa and to play in the PSL,” said Landry.

“Meanwhile, Zulu returns to AmaZulu after previous spells with Hout Bay United and Pretoria Callies, where he spent a season on loan from Usuthu.

“The Gingindlovu-born goalkeeper said he was delighted to be back at the club he knows as home and is looking forward to competing for his place among the goalkeeping ranks. “I am happy to be back home at AmaZulu,” said Zulu.
