Kaizer Chiefs have announced the signing of Bradley Cross from Golden Arrows, as first reported by iDiski Times.
Cross, 23, has penned a four-year deal at Naturena and was unveiled on Tuesday.
“Kaizer Chiefs are delighted to welcome their sixth signings of the current transfer window, Bradley Cross, from Golden Arrows,” the club stated.
Cross himself expressed his excitement about joining Chiefs: “I am honoured to be part of such a prestigious Club. I am ready to give my best and help Kaizer Chiefs achieve their goals and objectives,” he stated.
Cross came through the Bidvest Wits Academy before joining Bundesliga side Schalke 04’s Under-19 team in Germany. He then moved to Premier League side Newcastle United and captained their U21 and U23 teams in England, before being released after some injuries.
He was on trial at Chiefs in 2022 but the club opted not to sign him then, leading to Cross move to Golden Arrows, where he impressed and even earned a call-up to Bafana Bafana. He was in Hugo Broos’ extended AFCON squad but didn’t make the final list.
