Cape Town City have announced the signing of new striker Joaquim Cristovao Paciencia from GD Interclube.
The 27-year-old also had stints with G.D. Sagrada Esperança and Petro de Luanda, among the biggest clubs in the country.
Paciencia netted 26 goals in 67 league games over the past four seasons in the Angolan top-flight, with City hopeful he can add more firepower to the squad.
On Wednesday, City announced the signing of the new striker, as previously reported by iDiski Times.
City had been in the market for a new number nine after releasing Bertrand Mani, while they bide their time on the development of promising teenager Luke Daniels.
Samir Nurkovic trained with the club prior to their end-of-season break but with his injury history, it’s unlikely they will take the gamble on his services.
