Cape Town City have announced the signing of striker Cheswyn Philander who was last on the books of newly promoted Betway Premiership side Milford FC.
The 22-year-old forward hails from Cape Town where he started his professional football with Ubuntu FC before joining Stellenbosch FC reserves before earning first team promotion in 2025.
He was shipped out on loan to Milford last season scoring seven goals before he aided Xanti Pupuma’s charges in gaining promotion to topflight football via the PSL/promotion playoffs.
City announced his signing on Friday morning.
