Official: Davids Unveiled At New Club After Raja Exit

Former Raja Athletic assistant coach Fadlu Davids has been announced as the new man in charge of Tanzanian giants Simba SC, as first reported by iDiski Times.

Davids, 43, recently concluded a double triumph campaign with the Green Eagles in North Africa alongside former Orlando Pirates mentor Josef Zinnbauer.

On Friday, the Reds of Msimbazi announced the appointment of the former Orlando Pirates and Lokomotiv Moscow assistant via social media on a two-year deal.

Davids is set to rope in Darian Wilken as his assistant, with Mueez Kajee also joining as his performance analyst, both of whom he worked with during his brief but successful stint as part of the Raja technical team this past season.

After finishing in a disappointing third place this past season, 11 points adrift of rivals and champions Young Africans SC, Simba will be hoping the arrival of Davids steers them back to league triumph having last won it in 2020–21.
