Chippa United have announced the signing of Craig Martin from Orlando Pirates.
Martin, 29, only arrived at Pirates in January but found limited game-time at Orlando Stadium.
He only made six appearances for the Buccaneers, who were long-term admirers of the speedy winger, but he struggled to find a spot in Jose Riveiro’s system.
On Tuesday, Chippa confirmed the signing of Martin on a two-year deal which includes an option to extend, as previously reported by iDiski Times.
“His addition to our squad on this extended commitment is a clear indication for our aspirations for the new season,” said coach Morgan Mammila.
