Orlando Pirates have confirmed the exit of striker Zakhele Lepasa who now becomes a free agent.
Lepasa, 28, was not part of their pre-season trip to Spain after parting ways with his boyhood club where he rose through the academy system back in 2018.
He spent three separate loans away from Pirates at Stellenbosch, TS Galaxy and SuperSport United and overall scored 15 goals with two assists in 64 games for the Buccaneers winning five domestic cups.
But he departs after not featuring for the entire 2024/25 season after a long-term injury and will now be looking to get his career back on track with ambitions to return to the senior national team set-up.
And he has been named in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) squad that kick off their campaign against Algeria on 5 August.
