The loan move of Sipho Mbule from Mamelodi Sundowns to Sekhukhune United has been confirmed ahead of the transfer deadline on Friday.
Earlier this week, iDiski Times reported about Mbule’s imminent move, with the former SuperSport United midfielder hoping to revive his once-promising career with Lehlohonolo Seema’s team.

Just before 8pm, Babina Noko confirmed the signing of Mbule.
“Sekhukhune United Football Club would like to announce the signing of Sipho Mbule, on loan, from Mamelodi Sundowns,” the club stated.
“Mbule joins Babina Noko, having played 51 matches in the past 2 seasons, at the Chloorkop based outfit.
“‘Master Chef’ as Mbule is affectionately known, will have his work cut out, in a team that has been business like in its acquisitions, in the off season.
“The Babina Noko family welcomes Sipho and wishes him a productive stay.”
The former SuperSport United midfielder has struggled for regular starts since his high-profile move to Chloorkop. Although he has featured in 52 games in the past two seasons, he only started 24 times.
He has not featured in any match squads for Sundowns in 2024/25.
The 26-year-old has four caps for Bafana Bafana but has not been part of the national setup since his last cap against Zimbabwe in 2021.
