Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of Sipho Mbule who joins the club on a free transfer after his exit from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Mbule, 27, had a great first half of the campaign on loan at Sekhukhune United, even catching the eyes of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos, who had named him in his preliminary squad.

However, off-the-pitch issues derailed his campaign and saw him being dropped from the Babina Noko squad. Sundowns had an option to extend his contract but opted against it.
But Mbule has now been unveiled by Pirates ahead of the 2025/26 season, becoming the club’s first officially announced signing.
