Official: Pirates Announce Next Exit

Orlando Pirates have announced the exit of midfielder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo, as previously reported by iDiski Times.

The Buccaneers, who have already announced 10 new signings, with more expected to arrive, decided in the last minute not to renew the contract for the midfielder.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm the departure of midfielder Phillip Ndlondlo,” the club stated.

“The 28-year-old is now free to sign with a club of his choice. Ndlondlo, who joined the Buccaneers in 2022, made a number of notable contributions during his time in the famous black and white.

“The Club extends Its sincere gratitude to Phillip for his professionalism and commitment during his spell at Orlando Pirates and wishes him every success In the next chapter of his career.”

The 30-year-old joined Pirates in July 2022 from Marumo Gallants after he had an impressive season. The former AmaZulu FC midfielder made 65 appearances in the black and white of Bucs, scoring three goals.

Ndlondlo won two Nedbank Cups and three MTN8 trophies with the Buccaneers. He is currently a free agent and is allowed to join a team of his choice.
