Richards Bay FC have unveiled three new signings as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Natal Rich Boyz finished the previous campaign in 11th place, collecting 34 points from 30 league matches to comfortably retain their top-flight status.
The club recently appointed Ronnie Gabriel as its sole head coach. Gabriel, speaking with media, made it clear that Richards Bay will be aiming to secure a top-eight finish in the Betway Premiership while also mounting a serious challenge for domestic silverware by reaching a cup final.
Adding the depth in the squad, the club has bolstered the team with the signings of goalkeeper Nhlakanipho Ngcobo, defender Siyabonga Gumede and striker Nqaba Xulu.

“Richards Bay Football Club is delighted to officially confirm the signings of Goalkeeper Nhlakanipho Ngcobo ,Striker Nqaba Xulu and Defender Siyabonga Gumede,” the club announced via a statement.
“We wish them every success as they begin this exciting new chapter in the colours of the Natal Rich Boyz.”
Richards Bay open their Betway Premiership campaign against Polokwane City on Sunday, 2 August at uMhlathuze Sports Complex.
