Stellenbosch FC have announced the exit of defender Turan Manafov who returns to his home country to join Gabala FC on loan.
Stellies have been active in the January window so far, adding Tshegofatso Mabasa, Kobamelo Kodisang, Mosa Lebusa and Wayde Jooste.
With so many new players coming in, Manafov has now made way and was sent out on loan.
“Stellenbosch FC can confirm that Turan Manafov has returned to Azerbaijan, where he will spend the remainder of the 2025-26 season on loan with Gabala FC,” the club stated.
“The 27-year-old joined Stellenbosch at the start of the current campaign and made 10 appearances across all competitions, including outings across the Betway Premiership, Carling Knockout, and CAF Confederation Cup.
“The Club wishes Turan every success during his loan spell.”
