Pirates Complete Another Signing

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates have completed the signing of Orbit College midfielder Thuso Moleleki, iDiski Times has learnt.

The 24-year-old joined Orbit College in 2022 when they were playing in the ABC Motsepe League after leaving Free State Stars.

Moleleki is known for his coolness on the ball and has good technique to spray long and short passes. He was the main man in the midfield of Orbit College as they spent 16 weeks sitting on top of the table.

This publication has been informed that Moleleki has penned a three-year deal with an option to extend it for a further two years with the Buccaneers, but the club are yet to announce his signing.

The Sea Robbers were pressed for time and had to seal the deal as quickly as possible, as they gear up for their pre-season trip to Spain next month.

Pirates will be jetting off to Spain for a three-match tour ahead of a daunting 2024/25 campaign. They will start of against English Championship side Plymouth Argyle, who are managed by England and Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, on July 12. They will then travel to Seville to take on Sevilla on July 15, before rounding up their tour with Qatar Stars League outfit Al Sadd SC on July 19.

Moleleki is expected to compete with the likes of Thalente Mbatha, Miguel Timm, Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo, Karim Kimvuidi, Siphelo Baloni, and other midfielders.
