Pirates Identify Next Transfer Target?

Orlando Pirates have enquired about striker Muzomuhle Khanyi from Motsepe Foundation Championship side Hungry Lions after his good performance in the Nedbank Cup.

Khanyi, 24, is a former South Africa U20 national team player, who was at the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup that was hosted in Poland.

The former Bidvest Wits youth striker has had a great time in the Nedbank Cup this year, scoring the winner against Casric Stars in the qualifying round.

He was also involved in the winning goal against JDR Stars in the Last 32, as he laid an assist to Katlego Cwinyane.

This publication understands that Pirates enquired about Khanyi after their Nedbank Cup Round of 16 clash at Orlando Stadium.

The jersey number 50 of Lions was introduced in the 64th minute by coach Hendry Basie.

Overall, he’s scored four goals for the Motsepe Foundational Championship side this season so far, adding onto his six from last campaign.
