Ramovic Breaks Silence On Chiefs Rumours

TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic has broken his silence on rumours linking him with the Kaizer Chiefs job, saying he’s just focussing on the Rockets right now.

The German-Serbian tactician has guided Galaxy into the top eight for the first time in the club’s history and could potentially secure CAF Interclub football as well, should they stay in fourth place in their final game.

His fine exploits have seen him linked with Galaxy and although there hasn’t been any formal contact, as reported in this week’s iDiski Times newspaper, rumours of a potential move to Naturena – paired along with his public feud with Rulani Mokwena – have seen his name trending.

But Ramovic has insisted that he is fully focussed on TS Galaxy – at least for now, however, he did praise the Glamour Boys once more.

“I’m the coach for this beautiful club, TS Galaxy. I have a contract, I’m very happy to be here,” he told Robert Marawa on 947.

“Beside that we all know that Chiefs is a wonderful club, probably the most beautiful club in South Africa.

“But this doesn’t change the fact that I’m happy where I am now and where I stay.”

When asked where the rumours are coming from, Ramovic admitted the club’s good season is probably playing it’s part but for now they are just that – rumours.

“I don’t know, maybe because we are doing a great job with out team now,” he added.

“But like I said, we just focus on our club to improve even more and everything else is just the future, because right now, the present is the most important thing.

“This is where we enjoy a lot with all my players, we have a beautiful time and everything else is [just rumours].

“If this, if that, it’s just the future.”

Galaxy finish their season against Polokwane City and could secure fourth place and African football with a win over Rise & Shine in their final game of 2023/24.
