Wydad Athletic Club striker M’Baye Niang has joined Serie B side Sampdoria on a free transfer.
Niang, 30, only joined Wydad in September but never really settled in Morocco but had already left Wydad in December after just four months.
The nomadic striker scored two goals in eight appearances, but was last in the squad in mid-December.
Niang, who already played for AC Milani, Torino, Genoa and FC Empoli in Serie A, has now returned to Italy and joined Sampdoria.
