Stellenbosch FC have placed striker Lehlohonolo Mojela and midfielder Lesiba Nku up for sale and ordered the duo to train away from the senior team.
iDiski Times understands that Stellenbosch aim to cash in on both Mojela and Nku in the coming window and the duo will leave the Cape Winelands side should suitors put a price that will meet Stellies demands.
Both players have been asked to train on their own until they get new clubs.
Mojela joined Stellies in JUly 2024 and has had a promising start, scoring six goals in his first nine appearances before he suffered a serious knee injury. In his first season, he led Stellenbosch into the MTN8 final, where they lost 3-1 to Orlando Pirates, before he was sidelined for the rest of the campaign. He returned to playing this season but has failed to score in 15 appearances so far.
Nku on the other hand joined Stellies from Sundowns on a permanent basis in January 2025. The 29-year-old made 35 appearances in all competitions and scored two goals which both came from last season’s Betway Premiership.
This publication understands there’s already interest from clubs to sign Mojela and Nku but nothing concrete has materialised at this stage.
Should a deal be finalised for either of the players, they will only be able to play for their new club from January.
