After just one season at Mamelodi Sundowns, the club has loaned out Kobamelo Kodisang to Portuguese club AVS Futebol.
The 25-year-old was announced by the club in Portugal on Thursday evening. He will spend the 2025/26 campaign with the top-flight club.
Kodisang joined Sundowns at the start of the 2024/25 campaign, but featured just 11 times in all competitions, with six starts.
Prior to joining Sundowns, Kodisang spent five years in Portugal, and joined the Brazilians after a good season for Moreirense Futebol Clube.
“I’m someone who always tries to give my best, both in attack and defence. I don’t like to disappoint the fans. If they come to support and encourage us, we have to give our all for them. I can guarantee that; I’ll give my all in every game,” he told the club’s website.
“I hope that’s enough to make the fans happy. I’m a good professional. The most important thing is to always give my best. If I do, I help the team. And if the team improves, we’re all happy. In a team, there are no “I’s,” there’s a collective that has to work.”
