Mamelodi Sundowns have extended the stay of defender Mosa Lebusa for another season after he had a stellar finish to 2024/25 season.
Lebusa, 32, has been a pillar of the Sundowns defence throughout the years he has been in the club, which will reach seven years in August.
Since completing his move from Ajax Cape Town in 2018, Lebusa has managed to win 11 trophies, including seven league titles and the African Football League.
Overall, the 32-year old has made 197 appearances in all competitions and scored six goals, with 30 of those games coming in 2024/25.
He has feature nine times in this season’s CAF Champions League campaign, starting both semi-finals and finals, as Sundowns just missed out on their second star.
This publication understands Sundowns opted to activate their option in his contract to prolong his stay at the club until June 2026.
The veteran defender is ready to jet off with the club to the USA for FIFA Club World Cup.
