SuperSport United have confirmed that head coach Gavin Hunt has signed a new two-year deal at the club, while Thulani Hlatshwayo signed a one-year extension at the club.
Hunt, 59, joined Matsatsantsa in July 2022 and finished third in his first season at the club. However, last season was a bit more tricky, and SSU ended up in seventh – just one point behind fourth place.
Overall, Hunt has been charge of 75 games, winning 29, drawing 22 and losing 24, and has been given credit to incorporate youngsters like Shandre Campbell, who is now close to a move to Club Brugge, into the first team.
On Tuesday, SuperSport announced Hunt’s two-year extension, along with assistant coach Andre Arendse and goalkeeper coach Grant Johnson.
In addition, Hlatshwayo signed a new one-year deal, while Gape Moralo, Bilal Baloyi and Gamphani Lungu all penned new two-year contracts.
