Thobejane Lands New Job

Former Baroka coach Kgoloko Thobejane has been appointed as the head coach of Postmasburg FC.

The experienced Thobenjane made his name in the colours of Bakgakga after he has been their coach for three times.

He was appointed as the head coach in July 2015 then he was demoted in January 2017, when he became the assistant to Jacob Sankala.

The South African mentor returned to be the head coach of Baroka in February 2017 after Sankala didn’t last long at the side, but Thobejane himself was then sacked in March 2018 leaving the club.

In November 2021, he returned to the side for a third time as the head coach before he was demoted to the DStv Diski Challenge, which later led to his sacking when the club got relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

After the Baroka chapter closed he joined ABC Motsepe League side Som United in November 2022 but left the club in February because he was not happy with the appointment of new assistant coach Lebogang Mothibantwa.

He is now back in the ABC Motsepe League with Postmasburg FC after the Northern Cape side announced him as their head coach, hoping he can lead them to the ABC Motsepe League national promotion play-offs. The ABC Motsepe League is set to start in a month time.
