Two New Chiefs Signings Spotted Ahead Of Yanga Clash

New Kaizer Chiefs signings Rushwin Dortley and Fiacre Ntwari were spotted in training with the squad ahead of the Toyota Cup clash against Young Africans SC.

Dortley, 22, has emerged as one of the most sought-after talents in the country since breaking into the Spurs first team back in 2020.

With over 100 first-team appearances in the top two tiers of South African football, Dortley has established himself as an experienced campaigner despite his young age, and Chiefs snapped him up from the Urban Warriors after their relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Meanwhile, Ntwari, 24, joined from TS Galaxy to strengthen the club’s goalkeeping department.

He joined The rockets from AS Kigali as a direct replacement for Melusi Buthelezi who moved to Orlando Pirates last season ahead of 2023/24.

While he initially served as an understudy to Vasilije Kolak until late November 2023, he went on to impress in the Carling Knockout and Nedbank Cup which earned him a place in the starting line-up in the league.

His fine performances in 2023/24 have now earned him a move to Chiefs, with this publication understanding he’s signed a three-year contract with an option to extend and he was spotted in training on Saturday.
