The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw took place in Nyon on Friday, and has brought us some enticing games.
The top eight sides of the newly-implemented league phases automatically qualified for the Last-16, while the eight winners of the two-legged knockout phase play-offs joined them in draw.

Liverpool finished the league phase at the top followed by FC Barcelona and Arsenal, while Inter, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Lille and Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain, Club Brugge, Real Madrid, PSV, Benfica, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Feyenoord qualified via the play-offs.
In today’s draw, there were pre-defined pairings which were determined by teams’ final league positions. For example, teams that finished first and second in the league phase will face the winners of the knockout phase play-off ties involving the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th-placed teams in the Round of 16; teams that finished third or fourth were be drawn against the winners of the knockout phase play-off ties involving the 13th, 14th, 19th and 20th-placed teams, and so on.
The draw brought upon some massive clashes, with Real Madrid facing Atletico Madrid in a Spanish derby, while in Germany Bayern Munich square off against Bayer Leverkusen. Also in this round, Liverpool face Paris Saint-germain…
